TULSA – As we enter into Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, FC Tulsa not only wants to raise awareness and fight against breast cancer, but all forms of cancer as the club will host its first-ever Fight Cancer Night on October 15. Moving forward, FC Tulsa will dedicate one home match each season to highlighting and fighting a different form of cancer, beginning with breast cancer in 2022.
Fans will be able to purchase the Fight Cancer Bundle leading up to the match, the proceeds of which will be donated to the Tulsa-based organization The Stonebrook Project. The jerseys will also be available for purchase on their own here.
All FC Tulsa players will wear a limited-edition Fight Cancer Night jersey during warmups leading up to kickoff, and one of these prematch-worn jerseys is included in each Fight Cancer Bundle. Also included is an autograph from the player that wore your jersey and a postmatch picture with the player down on the pitch. Fans can select which player’s bundle they want to order, and each is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Throughout the evening, fans will also be provided with information regarding breast health, possible cancer symptoms, and how everyone can help in the fight against breast cancer.
The match will mark the final outing for FC Tulsa in 2022 as the club hosts Memphis 901 FC, presented by Tulsa Bone and Joint. Tickets to the match start at just $12 before matchday and can be purchased here!
Before the match, old school country artist Jacob Tovar will also be taking the FC Tulsa Summer Concert Stage at 6 p.m. CT to get the crowd ready for FC Tulsa’s 7:30 p.m. CT kickoff.
