Jersey Designed in Collaboration with Local Tulsa Artist Tanner Kerley
TULSA – Ahead of one of Tulsa’s most notorious annual events, Saint Francis Tulsa Tough, FC Tulsa is highlighting the iconic Cry Baby Hill leg of the cycling street race with a special jersey in collaboration with Tulsa artist Tanner Kerley. FC Tulsa players will wear the jersey during on-field warmups for Tulsa Tough Night on June 17, and the jersey is available for fans to purchase ahead of time.
“We wanted to go big, bright, bold and colorful to match the wild punk rock energy of Cry Baby Hill while incorporating that street art feel,” said FC Tulsa Creative Director Victor Schwanke. “There is no one better in Tulsa to make that happen than local artist Tanner Kerley, so we reached out and the collab was born.”
The Don’t Be a Cry Baby Jersey heavily features graffiti stylings with a prominent crying baby on the front, a nod to the legendary incline that cyclists must ascend during Sunday’s installment of the Saint Francis Tulsa Tough races. On the front of the jersey is also the silhouette of a cyclist with the taunting words “Don’t Be a Cry Baby” echoing across both sleeves.
The back of the jersey features FC Tulsa’s scissortail crest in the club’s signature patina green tone and Tanner Kerley’s signature.
A limited number of Don’t Be a Cry Baby jerseys are available for fans to purchase ahead of June’s Saint Francis Tulsa Tough races and FC Tulsa’s Tulsa Tough Night at ONEOK Field at fctulsa.com/shop.
