MATCH RECAP: FC Tulsa Exit Postseason in Northern California

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (November 1, 2026) — FC Tulsa’s 2026 campaign came to an end on Sunday night in a 1-0 loss against Sacramento Republic FC in the Western Conference Quarterfinals at Heart Health Park.

Physicality was abundant in the opening 45 minutes with both sides looking to establish dominance early. The Scissortails appeared to have scored an opening goal in the 36th minute before it was called back by the head referee. Remi Cabral came close on a breakaway attempt but was denied off the line as the match remained scoreless at the break.

Sacramento came out of the locker room aggressive in the attack with a flurry of chances, but Dane Jacomen stood tall in net including a spectacular save on a bicycle kick attempt from Mark-Anthony Kaye in the 64th minute. The hosts would ultimately break through, however, as Blake Willey finished off a rebound in the 88th minute to break Tulsa hearts and put a lid on its 2026 season.

MATCH NOTES

Logan Dorsey exited the match with an apparent leg injury in the 76th minute..
Harvey St Clair made his first appearance for the Scissortails since July 18.
